Model: SoundPort 1848/AD90609
Operating System: Windows 3.1 (Note: might work with other versions of this os.)
Sound Port SoundPort 1848/AD90609 Driver. This is for an older sound card - in this case an ANALOG DEVICES AD90609 (also listed as a SoundPort 1848). This card has an OPTI 82C928 chip on board, and it was this chip that led to the Quickshot site. This card turned out to be a Quickshot QS823 Sound Card. The driver loaded in DOS/Windows 3.xx easily, and if you write your own batch file (include all the same switches you would find in DOS/3.xx) in Windows 95/98 this should load in the boot sequence and stay loaded after Windows opens. The secondary ports are for specific (and older) CD-ROMs (Panasonic, Mitsumi and Sony) but may support newer IDE drives (use the Panasonic connector if that is attempted). Good Luck!File Contents:
