This driver was found on a Taiwan site originally and so far works fine on my Windows 2000 system. It mentions support for both DX and NX series of sound chips by Trident. Since it was programmed by a 3d party sound board manufactuer and not the Trident reference drivers, it's so far is the most current sound driver for Windows 2000.
