The following is a brief description of the steps necessary for downloading and installing the PSC drivers. Refer to the readme.txt file included with the driver files for detailed installation instructions.
1: Download this self-extracting update file for your Operating System and PSC type.
NOTE: The 98SE & WinME OS's can use either Win9x or WDM drivers.
2: Double click on the update file just downloaded to your PC, this will extract the PSC driver files to a default folder.
3: Uninstall all currently loaded audio driver files (Refer to the readme.txt file included with the driver files for important information about uninstalling on-board audio devices).
NOTE: When un-installing WDM drivers:
Go to the windows device manager and under the [Sound, video and game controllers] entry remove Philips Audio & Philips GamePort Enumerator entries.
Next go to the Add/Remove Programs in the windows control panel. Remove the Philips Support Files entry. This method will ensure complete uninstall of all PSC WDM drivers.
4: Reboot PC to begin PSC install process.
5: Point [Add New Hardware Wizard] to folder that contains driver files.
6: Complete installation as directed by the [Add Hardware Wizard].
