Even C-Media did not update their drivers on their own site "www.cmedia.com.tw". Their last driver on their own site is version 0639 released on 26-08-2002. But thanks to "MiseryQ" that has submitted his comments to "www.driverguide.com", the following fact has been discovered. Aopen soundcard Cobra AW850 use the CMI-8738 (6ch.) chipset. Aopen has updated their drivers for all Windows operation systems. Which has brought the driver to the version 0644 released on 30-07-2003. Good compability, no stability issues with Windows XP. Thanks Aopen, if you want to keep using the newest drivers, keep an eye on Aopen "www.aopen.com".
